A westbound freight roars out of Hermosa Tunnel, in a blast of diesel exhaust. The tunnel is on Sherman Hill, between Cheyenne and Laramie, WY. This is one of a series of photos taken by my late father-in-law, Floyd Howes, of Cheyenne, WY, and posted in his memory.
